The Burwell

Dating from 1907, the Burwell Building was once the tallest building in Knoxville and is home to the historic (and newly restored) Tennessee Theater, recognized as one of the best live music venues in the country. The building and Theater were renovated in 2004, keeping the Second Renaissance Revival style façade. The building renovation included the addition of new plumbing, electrical, drywall, and methods of egress.
